•	Life Skills Education Training of teachers of KGBV and Preparation of LSE module for KGBV, June- July, 2008

 

	-	Training of Teachers of KGBV
		The training was conducted in two phases. Phase-I from June 10 - 14, 2008 in Kukas (near Jaipur) and Phase II from June 17 - 21, 2008 in Jaipur.
	-	Preparation of Life Skills Education Module for training of teachers of KGBV :
		For Finalizing the content, it was decided by the Sandhan faculty that issues and techniques of transaction need to be tried out with adolescent girls. The insights gained from this ‘hands on’ experience would be incorporated in the module before giving it a final shape. With this understanding a five-day, June 25 - 29, 2008. ‘Try out workshop of Life Skills Education’ was done with school going adolescent girls of Pisangan block of Doosra Dashak. A total of 49 girls participated in the training; of which 43 were school going in classes ranging from class V-XII. Based on the insights from the training of teachers and try out workshop, Life Skills Education Module for training of teachers of KGBV was prepared.
•	Appreciative Inquiry for developing a plan of action for 10 KGBVs in Tonk and Udaipur, February - April, 2009.
	A study using Appreciative Inquiry tool is being undertaken for developing a plan of action at a disaggregated level for 10 selected KGBV schools.

Azim Premji Foundation Rajasthan

Baseline Study for Learning Guarantee Programme Phase II - October 2008 to February 2009.

Sandhan conducted a baseline study of 39 schools for Learning Guarantee programme Phase II (Tonk Sirohi district) for Azim Premji Foundation. As a part of this exercise Sandhan has generated two exhaustive reports - 'Sambhavnao kee Khoj' and 'Ek Kadam Aagey'.
